I feel like I'm spending so much money this month. But part of it is because I'm being conscious about my spending so I'm more aware of it.

But yesterday we went to a show and I bought some merch (being in the "biz" means I know that's where the money is made). And all this week I've been plotting how to fix the kitchen storage conundrum so today I bought a (cheap) shelf online. I just really want to be able to not have to move the air fryer out of the way whenever I need the rice cooker.

Our kitchen is small and hardly any storage, and we've been using an old wire rack shelving and an even older rolling microwave cart that has been stored directly in front of the wire shelving. I'm determined to make this less annoying and to make the kitchen easier to understand. And maybe a little prettier.

The shelf will be delivered next week so now I have the goal of getting the kitchen organized enough so that we have space to build the shelf and rearrange everything.

Again, I feel like I shouldn't be throwing money at a problem until I've actually decluttered more, but I just can't function in this space. It will help to have a more permanent space to figure out what things will fit, and if they don't fit, do we really need them any more.
