I couldn't sleep last night so instead I went down a window shopping bunny trail to find the perfect summer travel sandal. Happy to report I did not actually purchase anything but I do have three different carts going with at least 3 pairs of shoes (not just sandals) in them.

Will probably talk myself down and walk away, or at least edit the cart, or wait for a better sale. But it's so hard finding cute shoes to fit my feet that once it looks like something would work, I immediately want to buy it! Thanks to whatever ancestor's genetics that gave me basically square feet but also a desire to be stylish. It's been a struggle since I could walk. I hated that I could only get a boring pair of Mary Janes and tennis shoes as a kid from the expensive kid shoe store while my friends got to wear cute shoes from the cheap stores. Yes, my shoes were better and would last me a full year, but they weren't cute!!!

Anyway, I'm trying to find cute travel shoes that is also good for hot weather. I have booties and street sneakers I love, but sandals assume I have normal feet. But until I break down and buy some new ones, I need to go back and try the old ones that were okay but didn't fit quite right.

And then get rid of the ones that displease me! That's the catch. I shouldn't be buying new shoes until I get rid of the ones I don't wear any more.
