Magpie Musings is an independent publication launched in December 2023 by a magpie* in human form. Currently chronicling my attempts to stick to a No Buy Year and avoid purchasing all the new and shiny that crosses my path.

*Yes, I know it's a myth that magpie's are attracted to and hoard shiny objects. But it's an easy shorthand of how my brain works. And if you try to correct me, I shall attack you like an Australian magpie during swooping season.
