Day 48: Stupid socks

So, I bought more socks. There was a coupon. It is the colder season where I wear more boots. I am a weak child.

I plan to not buy any more socks this year! And by this year, I don't mean just until the end of 2024. I mean until this time next year, where I can use the holiday coupon again.

Because I like ~fancy~ socks.

I hate wearing socks. I hate wearing shoes. So I'm picky about what goes on my feet.

I need comfy clouds with no seams. And those don't come cheap. So I buy expensive socks because I am worth it, darn it!

Except they don't go on sale very often – mostly just for the holidays. So now I will have a years' worth of socks. Whee.

Still trying to rein in the spending, though. I swear. But the world is hitting all the triggers, man.
