Monthly Empties: Jan 2025

Used up:

  1. Bioderma - Sensibio H2O Micellar Water (500 ml): this was the last of my Paris bottles. I love this micellar water. It's by far my favorite. I will forever repurchase. Right now I'm working on a Costco-size bottle from Costco so it will probably take me awhile to get through that one.
  2. Neutrogena – Makeup Remover Wipes (25 ct): bought these for travel and have been using them up. Don't really like using them on my face unless I'm somewhere where liquids are tricky. Mostly used this up when swatching all the lippies I decluttered.
  3. Clinique - 100-Hour Moisture Surge Intense (50 ml): this is fine. It does the job. My skin doesn't love it but doesn't hate it. It's not 100-hour though, not in this extreme dry winter climate, but it works. I have another one (I think they were both GWPs?) that I will use but right now I'm working on some opened travel lotions.
  4. Benefit - Precisely, My Eyebrow Pencil in 3.5 (full size): I kind of hate how much I liked this. It felt like it applied better and lasted longer than all my cheaper options. I think I would be tempted to repurchase if I saw it on a good sale but the cheaper dupes work just fine.
  5. Clinique - Quickliner for Eyes Intense in Intense Clove (full size): I love these eyeliners. Clove is a little light but works for me.
  6. B&BW - Moisturizing Body Wash in Chasing Fireflies (10 oz): I love the scent but I don't think I'm a fan of the moisturizing body wash. I prefer the regular gel kind. I have 3 more of these body washes (because I've used them in the past and remembered liking them???) in random scents thanks to SAS that I'm focusing on right now since I can use all the moisture I can get during the winter.
  7. Verb – Ghost Shampoo (32 oz): this is not my favorite shampoo but it is a decent shampoo that's reasonably good for my hair, and since they've gotten rid of my favorite shampoo, it might become the new favorite. Sigh, first world problems...
  8. IGK – Full Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo (6.3 oz): I got this to work for me but it was very dusty. It did make my hair look pretty good a day after using it but I'm more of a "I need it now" girl so I had to figure out how to work it into my schedule.
  9. Perfume samples: Skin – Clean Classic (nice, inoffensive – I'd use another sample but not sure I'd buy it)

Decluttered:

  1. 39 makeup items!
  2. 55 lippies!
  3. Clinique - Quickliner for Eyes Intense in Intense Plum (full size): this was the same age as the one that broke last month, and when I went to use it this month it wouldn't twist up even though I could tell there was more product in it. It was old and broken, so farewell!
  4. Some random old travel skincare that's not worth mentioning other than I did go through all my travel bags to clear out the junk
